HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2875 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING BEING A BY-LAI{ TO Ab~END BY-LAW NU~BER 2790 WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Pickering deems it desirable to amend the provisions of By-law 2790 NOI~ THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: A. TEXT AMENDMENTS .. ~'~(' 1. Section 2.28 be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto after the word "balcony" the words "basement rec- reation room or" 2. Section 5.7 be and the same is hereby deleted. 3. Section S be and the same is hereby renumbered as follows: Section 5.8 becomes section 5.7 Section 5.9 becomes section 5.8 Section 5.10 becomes section 5.9 Section 5.11 becomes section 5.10 Section 5.12 becomes section 5.11 Section 5.13 becomes section 5.12 Section 5.14 becomes section 5.13 Section 5.15 becomes section 5.14 Section 5.16 becomes section 5.15 Section 5.17 becomes section 5.16 Section 5.18 becomes section 5.17 Section 5.19 becomes section 5.18 Section 5.20 becomes section 5.19 Section 5.20.1 becomes section 5.19.1 Section 5.20.2 becomes section 5.19.2 Section 5.21 becomes section 5.20 Section 5.22 becomes section. 5.21 Section 5.23 becomes section 5.22 4. Section 6.1.2 be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: "Uses connected with the raising of fur- bearing animals or the provision of kennel accommodation shall not be located closer than five hundred (500) feet to any area designated for residential purposes in the Township of Pickering or any adjacent municipality, and a specific amendment shall be required for each such use. S. Section 6 be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 6.1.4.3 as follows: 6.1.4.3 EXCEPTION Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 6.1.4.2, nothing in this By-law shall prevent the erection and operation of a motel on that portion of Lot 2~ Concession 6~ designated on Schedule 'A' as "~otel Site" in compliance with the provisions of Section 10, "Highway Commercial Zone C3"; and that site plan approval be granted by the Planning Board for any and all structures to be erected prior to the issuance of any building permit(s). - 2 - 6. Section 6.2.2 be and'the same is hereby amended by deleting the figure "S0" from the words "Side Yard - Minimum S0 feet" and inserting therefor the figure "20"; so that it shall now read: "Side Yard - Minimum 20 feet" 7. Section 7.1.4 be and the same is hereby deleted and the following inserted therefor: 7.1.4 INDUSTRIAL Uses permitted under Section 11.1.5 subject to the provisions of Section 7.2.4; and in accordance with the policy of Section I(j) of the Official Plan. 8. Section 9.1 be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: All uses permitted are subject to the approval of the Medical Officer of Health and the Township Engineer. 9. Section 11.2 be and the same is hereby amended in respect to rear yard by deleting all after the words "(By-law No. 2572)" and inserting therefor the words "when the rear yard so abutting the residential lot lines shall be one hundred (100) feet minimum." 10. Section 6.3 be and the same is hereby amended in respect to Floor Area by deleting therefrom the words "Floor Area - b{inimum 1050 square feet" and inserting therefor the words "Floor Area - Minimum 1150 square feet for lots of less than 10 acres in area and 2000 square feet for lots of 10 acres or more in area,." B. SCHEDULE 'A' AMENDMENTS 1, Schedule 'A' of By-law 2790 be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto in Lot 2, Concession 6~ the words "Motel Site" as indicated on the attached map and designated "B-i"; and said parcel of land to comprise only the southerly 360 feet of the westerly 600 feet of Lot 2 Concession 6, READ a FIRST and SECOND time this /~ day of Reeve erk READ a THIRD time and finally PASSED this ~ day of 1964. ......... er Reeve CON. 3 I I I ......
