A BY-LAW OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO PROVIDE
A TIME AND PLACE FOR MUNICIPAL NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS OF COUNCIL
AND TRUSTEES FOR SCHOOL AREAS ONE AND TWO.
The Municipal Council of the Township of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the place for receiving nominations for the offices of
Reeves Deputy-Reeve and three Councillors for the Township of
Pickering and Trustees for School Areas One and Two, shall be
in the Township Hall at the Village of Brougham on the last
Friday in the month of November and that the hour during which
such nominations may be received shall commence at SIX o'clock
and end at SEVEN o'clock in the evening.
2. Should an election be necessary* it will be held on the third
Saturday (fifteen days) following the Nomination Meeting and
the locations of the Polling Places for such election and persons
in charge will be named in a later By-Taw.
