A BY-LAW OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO PROVIDE
FOR THE NOMINATION AND ELECTION FOR SCHOOL TRUSTEES FOR SCHOOL AREAS
NUMBERS 1 AND 2 AND TO PROVIDE FOR POLLING LOCATIONS, DEPUTY RETURNING
OFFICERS AND POLL CLERKS TO TAKE THE POLL OF THE RATEPAYERS AT THE
SAME TIME AS THE POLL IS TAKEN FOR THE REEVE, DEPUTY-REEVE AND THREE
COUNCILLORS FOR YEAR 1956.
The Municipal Council of the Township of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the place for receiving nominations for the offices of
Trustees for School Areas Numbers 1 and 2 shall be in the
Township Hall at the Village of Brougham and that the hour
during which such nominations may be received shall commence
at One o'clock and end at Two o'clock in the afternoon of the
last Friday in the month of November.
2. Should an Election be necessary, it will be held on the second
Monday following the Nominations, and the location of the
Polling Place, for the election to the said offices and the
officials in charge, shall be as shown on attached Schedule
