WNSREAS the Trustees of the Police Villa-e of Pickering have
made request for the levy of a special rate of y. Mills on
the Dollar upon all the rateable property in the said Village to
defray the cost of maintaining Street Lights and meet the cost
of other sundry Village requirements during the year 1953•
AND WFT?REAB the total taxeable property in the said Police Village
is the sum of 0608,387,1+3
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP

there be raised, levied and collected from and upon
all rateable property in t}ie Police Village of Pickering, in the year
1-953,the rate or sum of 'f: Mills on the Dollar, amounting to the

Village of Pickering in the said year.
