oertsin increases in salaries of employees.
WHEREAS at the regular meeting of Council of January 10th last
certsin increases were made to certain employees of th~ Township
end it is required that they be confirmed by By-law;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Township of
Pickarlng that:
(1) That the yearly salary of Mrs. Rhotsn, as Public Health Nurse,
be increased from $2,100.00 to $2,200.00 and that the $650.00
or allowance for her esr remain as of year 1948.
(2) That the yearly salary of Dr. N. F. Tomlinson, ss Medical
Officer of Health, be increased from $800.00 to $900.00 yearly.
(3) That the salsry of James Blackwell, ss Assessor, be increased
f~om $1,800.00 to $2,000.00 per year and that he receive $400.00
yearly for the use of his oar On Township business.
(4) That Adam Spears be asked to retire from the position of
Assessor as of January 31, 1949, but that he receive e retiring
allowance of $40.00 per month to December 31, 1949.
(5) That ell By-laws contrary to or inconsistent to this By-law
(shell be repealed.
