THE CORPORATION OF THE TO'~NSHIP OF PICKERING
A By-law to confirm the proceedings of the
Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Picketing at its meeting held on the
19th of November and 1st of December, 1969.
WHEREAS by Sectiou 9 of the Municipal Act, being Chapter 245
of the Revised Statutes? of Ontario, 1960, the powers of a municipal
corporation are to be exerci ed by its Council~
AND WHEREAS by Subsection I of Section 252 of the Municipal Act,
being Chapter 245 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1960, the
powers of every Council are to be exercised by By-law;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that the proceedings of the
Council of the Corporation of the Township of Picketing at these
meetings be confirmed and adopted by By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TO~SHIP
OF PICKEF~ING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The ~ction of the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Plckering at its meeting held on. NoF~mbeE ~9__a~_d__D_De~_e__m~_ 1, 1969
in respect of each recommendation contain~d-~n the Reports of
the Committees and each motion and resolution passed and other
action taken by the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Picketing at this meeting, is hereby adopted and confirmed
as if all such proceedings were expressly embodied in this
By-law;
2. The Reeve and proper officials of the Corporation of the
Township of Picketing are hereby authorized and directed to do
all things necessary to give effect to the action of the
Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering referred
to in the preceding section hereof;
3. The Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute all documents necessary in that behalf and to affix
thereto the Seal of the Corporation of the Township of
Picketing.
By-Law read a First, Second and Third time and finally PASSED this
