A By-law of the Municipal Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to appoint a Community
Centres Board to manage and administer certain
Community Centres and Athletic Fields within
the Township of Pickering in conformity with
the Community Centres Act and the Regulations
made thereunder.
The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering enacts as follows:-
1) That the following named persons comprise a duly appointed
Community Centres Board for the years 1970 and 1971.
a) Reeve John R. Williams
b) Deputy Reeve G. Ashe
c) Councillor V. Rudik
d) Councillor Mr s. J. McPherson
e) Councillor D. Kitchen
f) Councillor R. Chatten
g) Councillor J. Kruger
2) That the above named duly appointed Board administer the
following Community Centres and Athletic Fields.
a) Brougham Community Centre
Concession 5, Pt. N2 Lot 18
b) Altona Community Centre
Concession 9, Pt. NZ Lot 31
c) Claremont Community Centre
Concession 8, Pt. N2 Lot 18
d) Atha Community Centre
Concession 7, Pt. N2 Lot 31
e) Mount Zion Community Centre
Concession 7, Pt. N2 Lot 6
f) Kinsale Community Centre
Concession 5, Pt. N2 Lot 1
g) Rouge Hills Community Hall,
Broken Front Range 3, Lot 31
h) West Rouge Community Centre
Plan 678, Lots 14, 15, 16, 20 and 29
i) Centennial Park and Athletic Field
Concession 2, S2/N2 Lot 19
j) Pickering Beach Community Centre
Broken Front Range 3, Lot 6
k) Rouge Hills Athletic Field & Community Centre

3) That the above named duly appointed Board administer
and manage the above named Community Centres and
Athletic Fields in conformity with the Community
Centres Act, R.S.O. 1960, and the Regulations made
thereunder.
4) All By-laws inconsistent or conflicting with this By-law
are hereby repealed.
By-Law read a First, Second and Third Time and Passed in open
