BY-LAW NUMBER 3 (a
A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to appoint
auditors for the Township of Pickering
for the year 1970.
WHEREAS the firm of Monteith, Riehl and Waters have audited the
accounts of the Township of Pickering for a number of years;
AND WHEREAS the firm of Monteith, Riehl and Waters has now been
changed to Deloitte, Plender, Haskins & Sells;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP
OF PICKERING THAT:
1. The firm of Deloitte, Plender, Haskins & Sells be and they
are hereby appointed auditors of the Township of Pickering
for the year 1970.
2. The said firm of Deloitte, Plender, Haskins & Sells shall
perform such duties as are prescribed in Chapter 249,
Sections 228 to 235 inclusive R.S.O., 1960, advise the
staff of better methods of bookkeeping and make recommenda-
tions to Council of such matters as would, in ther opinion
improve the audit or management.
By-law Number 3419 be and the same is hereby repealed.
