Being a By-law to amend by-law 3037
as amended
WHEREAS THE COUNCIL of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering deems it desirable to amend the provisions of
By-law 3037 as amended, pursuant to the provisions of The
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1960, Section 30, as amended:
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the.Corporation of the
Township of Pickering enacts as follows:
A. SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENTS
1. Schedule "A" of By-law 3037 be and the same is
hereby amended by altering the "Public and Private
Open Space zone "02"" in the northerly 808± feet
of the southerly 2,4201 feet of Pkrt Lot 13 Concession
3, to read "Public and Private Open Space Zone 102' -
Specific" as shown as Item 1 on Schedule "A" attached
hereto.
B. TEXT AMENDMENT
1. That a new subsection be added as follows:
13.3.2 Part Lot 13 Concession 3
Notwithstanding the provisions of
Sections 13.1 and 13.2 the following
property may, in addition,be used for
maintaining educational and recreational
facilities for children, including
the provision of overnight accommodation
and meals, aid may rotattR the existing
barn some 10- feet from the southerly lot
line as well as the existing pump house and
pool some 3 feet from the northerly lot line.
Land and premises situate, lying and being
in the Township of Pickering, in the County
of Ontario, and being composed of Part of Lot
13, in the Third Concession of the said Township
of Pickering, more particularly
described as follows:
PREMISING that the bearing of the east limit
of the said Lot 13 is north 17 degrees 28
minutes west and relating all bearings used
herein thereto;
COMMENCING at a point in the east limit of the
said Lot 13 distant northerly therein 1,612.57 feet
from the south east angle of the said Lot;
THENCE north 17 degrees 28 minutes most along said
east limit to a point in a fence running westerly
a distance of 807.68 feet;
THENCE south 72 degrees 15 minutes 30 seconds west
along said fence to a point in the fence marking
the existing limit between lots 1$ and 14, a
distance of 1,321.11 feet;
THENCE south 21 degrees 56 minutes 50 seconds east
along the said fence to a point in a fence running
easterly, a distance of 807.96 feet;
THENCE north 72 degrees 09 minutes 40 seconds
east along said fence to an angle therein, a
distance of 225.19 feet;
THENCE north 88 degrees 23 minutes east and
continuing along said fence to an angle therein,
a distance of 48.21 feet;
THENCE north 66 degrees 16 minutes 50 seconds
east and continuing along said fence to an
angle therein, a distance of 119.40 feet;
THENCE north 72 degrees 20 minutes 40 seconds east
and continuing along said fence a distance of 867.67
feet more or less to the point of commencement;
The above described parcel contains an area of
23.907 acres more or less;
C. That By-law 3937 be and the same is hereby amended only
to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions
of this By-law.
D. No part of this By-law shall come into force without the
approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, but subject
to such approval, the By-law shall take effect from the
day of passing thereof.
