Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area By-law 2511, as amended; WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering deems it desirable that a minimum of 15,000 square feet be provided for a one-family dwelling in any residential zone that does not have full municipal services, so as to provide for the efficient development of the Municipality when full services are"available. AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 2511 is necessary to provide this standard which is in accord with the spirit and intent of the Official Plan; NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED: A. TEXT DELETION By-law 2511 as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting therefrom the following portion of Section 6.2 thereof: where a piped municipal water. supply only is available, then the lot shall not be less than 7,500 square feet in area. B. That By-law 2511 be and the same is hereby amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law. C. No part of this by-law shall come into force without the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board. But subject to such approval this by-law shall take effect from the day of passing thereof.
