A by-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to authorize
and execute an agreement between the
Township of Pickering and Her Majesty
The Queen in right of the Province of
Ontario as represented by the minister
of Transportation and Communications.
WHEREAS the Township of Pickering proposes to have a study
of the Public Transit System operating within the limits
of the Township;
AND WHEREAS Tramco Incorporated, a firm of Consulting
Engineers have submitted a proposal for the study of the
Public Transit System in Pickering, to Pickering Township
dated November 15, 1972;
AND WHEREAS Pickering has requested the Ministry of
Transportation and Communications to make a contribution
toward the cost of the said study by Resolution #378/72
dated November 20, 1972;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED that the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering be authorized to enter into the said
agreement and execute same.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED in
