BY-LAW NUMBER
A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to stop up and
- close a part of a road (Sideline Road
between Lots 12 and 13, Concession 5)
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering proposes to stop up and close as a public
highway a portion of sideline 12 and 13 in Concession 5,
more particularly described in the description hereto
attached as Schedule "A' to this By-law and as prepared
by Mario Iarocci, O.L.S. dated March 21st, 1972;
AND LdliEREAS that part of Sideline Road allowance between
Lots 12 and 13, Concession 5 is no longer required for
the purposes of a public road;
A:0 WHEREAS notice of the Council's intention to pass
this by-law has been published once a week for four
consecutive weeks and posted up for one month in six of
the most public places in the immediate neiZhbourhood of
the said public highway to be closed and the provisions
of the Municipal Act relating to the stopping up of the
highways have been complied with;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering hereby ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The lands as described in Schedule 'A" and forming
a Dart of t,iis ?y-1'1.i ara nereny stopped up and
close] as a public road.

particularly described as follows;
PREMISING that the bearings used herein;
astronomic referred to the Meridian of 79 degrees and 30
minutes West Longitude, and were derived from the Ontario
Department of Transportation and Communicate ns morume: is
so. 67-663 and No. 67-664.
COMMENCING at the north-eastern angle of the
aforesaid Lot 13-
THENCE South nineteen degrees, forty-four
sinu.tes and zero seconds Fast, along the eastern limit of
lot 13, a distance of one thousand four hundred and sevonty-
two and nine one-hundredths feet; (1472.09') more or less
to the north-western angl« of that, portion of the aforesai.
Vad Allowance closed hy tno Township of Pickering By-Law
No. 273.
THENCE North se:ent,y degrees, forty-one minute::
and forty seconds Eapt, along; the northern limit of that
portion of the aforesaid Road Allowance closed by By-Law
No. 273, a distance of sixty-six feet (66.00') more or less
to the north-eastern angle thereof, being at a point in 0c-
western limit of said Lot 12.
THENCE North nineteen degrees, forty-four
minutes and zero seconds West, along the western limit of
Lot 12, a distance of one thousand four hundred and seventy-
two and six one-hundredths feet (1.0 .00) more or !Eau
thA north-western angle thereof.

TIENCE South seventy degrees, forty-three
minutes and ten seconds West, along the northern limit of
the said Road Allowance sixty-six feet (66.001) more or
less to the point of commencement.
TEL ABOVE DESCRIBED parcel of land contains
by admeasurement 2.230 acres be the same more or less.
