being a by-law to dedicate certain
lands as public highways.
WH?READ the lands described firstly and secondly in
Schedule "A" hereto were conveyed to The Corporation of the
Township of Pickering for road widening purposes to satisfy
conditions of the Committee of Adjustment to be fulfilled
by Arnold Somers and Lorne Jones, Percy Jones and Ralph Jones
respectively prior to the granting of consents to convey
abutting lands and it is necessary to dedicate the said lands
as public highways so that the abutting lands will have
frontage on a public highway.
NOW THHRrFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF
THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the lands described in Schedule "A" hereto
annexed be and the same are hereby dedicated as a public
highway.
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD time and passed in
open Council this I day of ??/,?? ,': _ 1972.

distance of 10.00 feet to an iron bar;
THENCE north 17 degrees 03 minutes 10 seconds west; parallel
to the west limit of the said lots 1,263.71 feet more or less
to an iron bar;
THENCE south 72 degrees 19 minutes 20 seconds west a distance
of 10.00 feet to the POINT OF COMMENCEMENT.
SCHEDULE "A"
ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Township of
Pickering in the County of Ontario, and being composed cf:
FIRSTLY:
Part of Lot 6, according to a plan registered at the
Registry Office for the Registry Division of the County of
Ontario as No. 330, the said parcel or tract being more
particularly described as follows:
PREMISING that the northerly limit of the said lot has a
bearing of north 73 degrees 05 minutes east, and relating
all bearings herein thereto, then
COMMENCING at the northeasterly angle of the said lot;
THENCE southerly along the easterly limit of the said lot
a distance of 24.99 feet to a point;
THENCE on a tangential curve to the left having a radius of
25.00 feet, and a chord equivalent of 35.35 feet more or
less, measured on a bearing of north 61 degrees 55 minutes
25 seconds west, an arc distance of 39.26 feet more or
less to a point in the northerly limit of the said lot,
distance westerly therealong 24.99 feet from the point
of commencement;
THENCE easterly along the said northerly limit to the
POINT OF COMMENCEtvENf.
SECONDLY:
Part of Lot 10, Concession 9 for the said Township;
containing by admeasuxement 0.290 acres be it the same,
more nr less, which said parcel may be more particularly
described as follows:
PREMISING that the bearings used herein are astronomic;
COMMENCING at a point in the west limit of the said Lot 10
distant 608.50 feet measured southerly therealong from the
north-west corner of the said Lot 10;
THENCE south 17 degrees 03 minutes 10 seconds east along
the west limit of the said Lot 10 a distance of 1,263.70
feet to an iron bar;
