Being a by-law to adopt Amendment
Number 23 of the Official Plan for
the Town of Pickering District 5 4,(Ld '
Planning Area, Region of Durham.`- 176
WHEREAS an official Plan for the Town of Pickering District
Planning Area, Region of Durham, was prepared by the Planning
Board of the former Township of Pickering, in accordance
with Section 12 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1970;
AND WHEREAS, Council of the Town of Pickering deems it
expedient to amend the said Official Plan in accordance
with the provisions of The Planning Act, R.S.O., 1970;
AND WHEREAS Council has examined Amendment Number 23 of the
said Official Plan and it is deemed expedient to adopt same;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
1. That the said Amendment Number 23 of the Town of
Pickering District Planning Area, Region of Durham
Official Plan is hereby adopted and recommended
to the Council of the Region of Durham for adoption
and recommendation to the Minister of Housing for
approval.
