Being a By-law to amend By-law Number 55/74
prohibiting heavy traffic.
WHEREAS By-law Number 55/74 prohibits heavy traffic on certain
highways within the Municipality, and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to restrict further highways
from heavy traffic,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING hereby
enacts as follows:
1. Section 2 of By-law Number 55/74, as amended by
By-law Number 140/74, is hereby further amended
by adding thereto the following:
Highway From To
Uxbridge/Pickering Regional Road #23 1300 feet west of the
Town Line (Whitby/Pickering Whitby/Pickering Town
Town Line) line
2. This By-law shall not take effect until approved by the
Regional Municipality of Durham.
