Being a by-law to clarify the intention of
the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Pickering in By-law 365/76

WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
pursuant to Section 29, Subsection 5 of The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1970,
Chapter 349, as amended, enacted on the 1st day of March 1976 by-law
No. 365/76 to exempt certain parts of Plan M-1057 from part lot control;
AND WHEREAS by typographical error by-law No. 365/76 was enacted
making reference to "Subsection 4 of The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1970,
Chapter 349";
AND WHEREAS it was the Council's intention to enact the said by-law
making reference to "Subsection 4 of Section 29 of The Planning Act,
R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 349";
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Section 1 of By-law No. 365/76 is amended by adding thereto
for clarification the phrase "of Section 29" immediately
following the phrase "Subsection 4" in the first line thereof.
