BY-LAW MULLI.
Being a by-law to amend Restricted Area
By-law 3036 and as amended.
WHEREAS By-laws 4166/72 and 4205/72 were passed by the Corporation
of the Township of Pickering to amend the provisions of Restricted
Area By-law 3036, as amended with respect to holding zones on certain
areas outlined therein;
AND WHEREAS Ontario hunicipal Board approval was never obtained
for By-laws 4166/72 or 4205/72;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to permit development to now
occur on the lands affected by By-laws 4166/72 and 4205/72;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the 'T'own o[ Pickering
HEREBY EiJACTS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Schedules
Schedule 'A' and 'B' attached hereto witli notations and references
shown thereon are hereby declared to be part of this By-law and
are described as follows:
Schedule 'A' - Glendale Road - Highway $2 Zoning liap
Schedule 'B' - Standards and provisions.
SECTION 2: Area
The provision of this By-law shall apply to all lands enclosed
by gray line on Schedule 'A' attached hereto.
SECTION 3: General Prohibition
No building or land shall hereafter be used or occupied, no
building or part thereof, shall be erected, moved or structurally
altered, except in conformity with the provisions of this By-law.
SECTION 4:4 Definitions
"Yards"
-Front Yard shall mean the space uetween Lhe m am irunL wal_1 OF ,i
building and a street extending the full width of the lot.
-Side Yard shall mean the space between a main side wall of a Luild-
ing -and a side lot line, extending from the front yard to the
rear yard.
-Rear Yard shall mean the space between a main rear wall of a
building and the rear lot line, and extending the full widti of the
lot.
-Flankage Yard shall mean the space between a main side aall of a
building and the side lot line which abuts a street and extending
from front yard to rear yard
SECTION 5: Provisions
The performance standards and provisions as set out oa Schedule 'B'
hereto shall apply to the area restricted by this by-law.

SECTION 6: By-law 3036
By-law 3036 as amended is hereby furtaer amended only to the
extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law
as it applies to the area set out in Schedule 'A' hereto.
SECTION 7: Enforcement
Any person convicted of a breach of any provision of this By-law
shall forfeit and pay, in the discretion of the presiding Justice,
a penalty not exceeding (exclusive of costs) the sum of One Thousand
Dollars ($1,000.00) for each offence, recoverable under The Summary
Convictions Act.
SECTION 8: Effective Date.
This By-law shall come into force and take effect upon being
passed by Council subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal
Board.
