BY-LAW NUMBER 5 S
Being a By-law to amend By-law Number 4025/71
and to allow the licensing of a trailer camp
at 1575 Kingston Road
WHEREAS By-law 4025/71 designates certain areas to be
used as Tourist Camps or Trailer Camps and provides for the
licensing, regulation and governing of such camps;
AND WHEREAS an application has been made to designate
further lands as a Trailer Camp and to provide for the licensing
thereof;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Subsections (a), (b) and (c) of section 3 of By-law
Number 4025/71 are hereby repealed and the following substituted
therefor:
(a) There shall not be more than the number of cabins
or structures specified as the maximum in Schedule
"A" located upon each of the areas set out in
Schedule "A" to this by-law used for the living,
sleeping or eating accommodation of persons therein
and if a trailer is used for sleeping purposes such
trailer shall be considered as a structure.
(b) There shall not be more than the number of vehicles
or motor vehicles specified as the maximum in
Schedule "A" placed, located, kept or maintained
for the living, sleeping or eating accommodation
of persons therein in each of the areas described
in Schedule "A" of this by-law.
(c) There shall not be more than the number of tents
specified as the maximum in Schedule "A" placed,
located, kept or maintained for the living,
sleeping or eating accommodation of persons
therein in each of the areas described in
schedule "A" to this by-law.
2. Schedule "A" to the said By-law is repealed and the
following substituted therefor:
