BY-LAW NUMBER 830/78
A By-law of the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering to appoint
members to the Town of Pickering
Public Library Board, and to
repeal By-law Number 568/77
WHEREAS the Public Libraries Act, R.S.O. 1970, c.381, under
Section 5, Subsection 1, provides for the appointment of
members to a Public Library Board;
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
ENACTS that the following persons shall comprise the
Library Board of the Town of Pickering and shall serve for
the term indicated:
1. The following members are hereby appointed for the
periods indicated:
Mr. John Coates to December 31, 1978 (Council)
Mr. Donald Kitchen to December 31, 1978 (Council)
Mrs. Joyce Lawler to December 31, 1978 (Public School)
Mr. Herbert Wank to December 31, 1978 (Public School)
Mrs. Julie Mooney to December 31, 1980 (Separate School)
Mrs. Agnes Blakeley to December 31, 1980 (Separate School)
Mr. W. Gordon Duncan to December 31, 1980 (Public School)
Mrs. Gwen Mowbray to December 31, 1979 (Council)
Mrs. Muriel Henderson to December 31, 1979 (Council)
By-law Number 568/77 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first, second and third time and passed this
5th day of June 1978
