THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NO. 1042/79
Being a By-Law to authorize the execution
of a Deed between the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering and the Regional
Municipality of Durham respecting Part
Lot 22, Range 3, Broken Front Concession,
Pickering (Frenchman's Bay Water Pollution
Control Plant).
WHEREAS, on December 31st, 1973, the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering was the owner in fee simple of certain
lands and premises in Part Lot 22, Range 3, Broken Front Con-
cession, Pickering, comprising the Frenchman's Bay Water Pol-
lution Control Plant and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of subsection 8 of
section 56 of The Regional Municipality of Durham Act, 1973,
S.O. 1973, chapter 78 as amended by S.O. 1974, chapter 117, all
real and personal property of any nature whatsoever used solely
for the purpose of the collection and disposal of sanitary sew-
age by an area municipality was vested in the Regional Munici-
pality of Durham on January lst, 1974; and
WHEREAS, the REgional Municipality of Durham has re-
quested a Deed from the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
(being the successor to the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering) confirming the Regional Municipality's title to
the said lands and premises;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council oi the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute a Deed in the form attached hereto
as Schedule "A" between the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering and the Regional Muni-
cipality of Durham respecting Part Lot 22,
Range 3, Broken Front Concession, Pickering
(Frenchman's Bay Water Pollution Control
Plant).
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 4th day of September, 1979.

(the receipt whereof is hereby by it acknowledged), the said Grantor doth
