BY-LAW NUMBER 1037/79
Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend Restricted
Area By-law 3036, as amended, to implement the
Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District
Planning Area, Region of Durham on Part of Lot 1,
Plan 469, in the Town of Pickering.
WHEREAS THE Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
deems it desirable to ensure that the development and use of the
subject lands, being Part of Lot 1, Plan 469, Pickering, will not occur
except in accordance with the policies of the Brock East Development
Plan;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 3036 is therefore deemed necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. BY-LAW 3036
By- law 3036, passed by the Council of the Corporation of
the Township (now Town) of Pickering on the 3rd day of August, 1965,
and approved by the Ontario Municipal Board on the 7th day of October
1966, and amended from time to time, is hereby further amended only
to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of Section
2 hereof.
2. SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENT
Schedule "A" to By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further
amended by altering from C1 (Local Commercial) to R3 (One-family
detached dwelling third density) the zone designation of the lands
designated "R3" on Schedule "I" hereto, being Part of Lot 1, Plan
469, Pickering.
3. EFFECTIVE DATE
No part of this By-law shall come into force without the
approval of the Ontario Municipal Board but, subject to such approval,
the By-law shall take effect from the date of passing hereof.
