OTHER BUSINESS
1.
Councillor Ryan directed staff to study the feasibility of establishing a school
crossing at the Altona Forest Public School as requested in correspondence
received from Guide leaders using that facility.
2.
Councillor Johnson congratulated Rick Henderson, a Pickering resident on his
work with children from Variety Village and a trip that he recently made to the
Bahamas with six children from this center.
3.
The following matters were discussed prior to the regular meeting:
a) The Chief Administrative Officer distributed correspondence concerning
2005 Ontario Senior Games, City of Pickering Growth Management Study -
Steering Committee, and Stephen McKean Encroachment.
b) The Chief Administrative Officer advised that he is now involved in the final
budget review and Council should have budget packages by Wednesday,
February 19th.
c) The Committee went In Camera at 7:14 p.m. to consider the following:
(i) The Director, Planning & Development commented on PD 09-03
concerning disposal of lands (Glen Eden Court).

The Committee rose from the In Camera session at 7:17 p.m.
d) The Chief Administrative Officer advised that Mr. Reble will remain Solicitor
for the City for the remainder of the year.
e) The Director, Corporate Services & Treasurer advised that the Annual
Report on Council's Remuneration is being prepared.

The meeting adjourned at 7:43 p.m.
