Being a By-law to stop up part of Old
Trespass Road (Part Lots 33 and 34, Range
3, Broken Front Concession)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 298(1) of the
Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, the council of any
municipality may pass by-laws to stop up a highway or part
thereof; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to stop up certain parts of
Old Trespass Road located in Lots 33 and 34, Range 3, Broken
Front Concession; and
WHEREAS notice of this By-law has been published once a week
for four consecutive weeks and the provisions of the Municipal
Act relating to the stopping-up of a highway have been
complied with;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering hereby enacts as follows:
1. The lands described in Schedule "A" attached hereto
are hereby stopped-up as public highway. (Old Trespass
Road)
This By-law shall not take effect until it is registered
in the Registry Office for the Registry Division of
Durham.

1982.

ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering,
in the Regional Municipality of Durham and Province of
Ontario and being composed of:
FIRSTLY, that part of Lot 33, Range
Concession, designated as Part 1 on
reference deposited in the Registry
Division of Durham as Plan 40R-6570;
3, Broken Front
a plan of survey of
Office for the Registry
and
SECONDLY, that part of Lots 33 and 34, Range 3, Broken
Front Concession, designated as Part 1 on a plan of survey
of reference deposited in the said Office as Plan 40R-6529.
