HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 1507/82THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 150~82 Being a By-Law to change the names of streets in Lot 29, Concession 1 (Rail Crescent), Plan 221 (Rail Crescent) and Plan 40M-1232 (Weyburn Square North) WHEREAS pursuant to section 210.105 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, the council of a local municipality may pass by-laws for giving names to or changing the names of highways on public or private property; and WHEREAS Registered Plan 40M-1232 abuts Registered Plan 221 and part of Lot 29, Concession 1, Pickering; and WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to give names to certain highways and to change the names of certain highways in order to provide for the proper integration of Registered Plan 40M-1232, Registered Plan 221 and a portion of Lot 29, Concession 1, abutting those plans; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: The lands described in Schedules "A" and "B" hereto are hereby named "Flavelle Court". (Part 13, Plan 40R-6964; Block 140, Plan 40M-1232) The lands described in named "Foxwood Trail". 142, 143 and 144, Plan Schedules "C" and "D" hereto are hereby (Parts 11 and 12, Plan 40R-6964; Blocks 40M-1232) That portion of Rail Crescent, formerly Bayview Road, described in Schedule "E" hereto is hereby renamed "Foxwood Trail". (Part 14, Plan 40R-6964) 4. Weyburn Square North, as described in Schedule "F" hereto, is hereby renamed "Weyburn Square".- Those portions of Rail Crescent described in Schedule "G" attached hereto are hereby renamed "Weyburn Square". (Parts 15 and 17, Plan 40R-6964) e That portion of Rail Crescent, formerly Bayview Road, described in Schedule "H" hereto is hereby renamed "Weyburn Square". (Part 16, Plan 40R-6964) 7. The lands described in Schedule "I" hereto are hereby named "Wey- burn Square". (Block 136, Plan 40M-1232) 8. Schedules "A", "B", "C", "D", "E", "F", "G", "H" and "I" attached hereto form part of this By-Law. 9. Appendix "I" attached hereto is for illustration purposes only. 10. This By-Law shall take effect upon the registration of a certified copy thereof in the Land Registry Office and the Land Titles Office for the Registry Division of Durham. BY-LAW read a first and second time this 7th day of June, 1982. BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 5th day of July 1982. SCHEDULE "A" ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises sit- uate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Munici- pality of Durham and Province of Ontario and being composed of that part of Lot 29, Concession 1, designated as Part 13 on a plan of survey of reference deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Durham (No. 40) as Plan 40R-6964. SCHEDULE "B" ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises sit- uate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Munici- pality of Durham and Province of Ontario and being composed of all of Block 140, according to a plan of subdivision registered in the Land Titles Office for the Registry Division of Durham (No. 40) as Plan 40M-1232, being part of Parcel 136-1, Section 40M-1232, Pickering. SCHEDULE "C" ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises sit- uate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Munici- pality of Durham and Province of Ontario and being composed of those parts of Lot 1, according to a plan of subdivision registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Durham (No. 40) as Plan 221, designated as Parts 11 and 12 on a plan of survey of refer- ence deposited in the said Office as Plan 40R-6964. SCHEDULE "D" ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises sit- uate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Munici- pality of Durham and Province of Ontario and being composed of all of Blocks 142, 143 and 144, according to a plan of subdivision registered in the Land Titles Office for the Registry Division of Durham (No. 40) as Plan 40M-1232, being part of Parcel 136-1, Section 40M-1232, Pickering. SCHEDULE "E" ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises sit- uate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Munici- pality of Durham and Province of Ontario and being composed of that part of Rail Crescent, formerly Bayview Road, according to a plan of subdivision registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Durham (No. 40) as Plan 221, designated as Part 14 on a plan of survey of reference deposited in the said Office as Plan 40R- 6964. SCHEDULE "F" ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises sit- uate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Munici- pality of Durham and Province of Ontario and being composed of all of Weyburn Square North, according to a plan registered in the Land Titles Office for the Registry Division of Durham (No. 40) as Plan 40M-1232, being part of Parcel Streets-l, Section 40M-1232. SCHEDULE "G" ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises sit- uate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Munici- pality of Durham and Province of Ontario and being composed of, FIRSTLY, that part of Lot 10 and Lot 12, according to a plan registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Durham (No. 40) as Plan 221, designated as Part 17 on a plan of survey of reference deposited in the said Office as Plan 40R-6964; and SECONDLY, that part of Lot 14, Plan 221, designated as Part 15 on Plan 40R-6964. SCHEDULE "H" ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises sit- uate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Munici- pality of Durham and Province of Ontario and being composed of that part of Rail Crescent, formerly Bayview Road, according to a plan of subdi- vision registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Durham (No. 40) as Plan 221, designated as Part 16 on a plan of survey of reference deposited in the said Office as Plan 40R-6964.
