BY-LAW NUMBER 1488/82
Being a By-law to amend the Town of Pickering
Municipal Code to levy such rates against all
of the assessed properties in the Town of
Pickering as will be required to cover the
1982 requisitions from the Durham Board of
Education and the Durham Region Roman
Catholic Separate School Board.
WHEREAS, the Durham Board of Education and the Durham Region
Roman Catholic Separate School Board have requisitioned the
Council of the Town of Picketing for certain sums of money
being the Town's share of the 1982 operating and capital
costs of various Elementary and Secondary Schools under their
jurisdiction;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Sections 2210.9, 2210.12 and 2210.13 of the Town of
Pickering Municipal Code are hereby deleted and the
following substituted therefor:

The~e shall be raised, levied and collected
from and upon all the rateable property in
the Town of Pickering the rates and sums set
out in sections 2210.12 and 2210.13 to levy
the 1982 requisition from the Durham Board
of Education and the Durham Region Roman
Catholic Separate School Board.
