BY-LAW NUMBER 1727/83
Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend
By-law 1680/83, amending Restricted Area
By-law 3036, as amended, to implement
the Official Plan of the Town of Pickering
District Planning Area, Region of Durham,
in Part Lot 23, Concession 1,in the Town
of Pickerin9.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
enacted By-la~v 1680/83 on June 6th, 1983; and
WHEREAS the Ontario Municipal Board approved By-law 1680/83
subject to certain conditions, on August 15th, 1983; and
WHEREAS those conditions require an amendment to By-law 1680/83
in accordance with the terms of Minutes of Settlement dated
August 15th, 1983;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Section 5(1)(b)vii)E of By-law 1680/83 is hereby revoked
and the following substituted therefor :

The location of points of street access to lands
designated 'C7' on Schedule "I" of this By-law
shall be restricted to those areas designated
'access' and 'temporary access' on Schedule "II"
of this By-law.
Temporary Access A on Schedule "II" shall be used
for ingress and egress to Area 4, only for so long
as that Area supports an automobile service station
-type 'C', and shall not be used for ingress or
egress to or from any other Areas.
Temporary Access B on Schedule "II" shall be used
for ingress and egress only to or from Area 4,
except any part of Area 4 supporting an automobile
service station type 'C', and shall not be used
for ingress or egress to or from any other Areas.
Temporary Access B on Schedule "II" shall be
permanently closed upon permanent alternate access
being provided to Area 4 across Area 5 to the
satisfaction of the owners of Areas 4 and 5.
Temporary Access C on Schedule "II" shall be used
for ingress and egress only to or from Area 2,
and shall not be used for ingress or egress to or
from any other Areas.
Temporary Access C on Schedule "II" shall be
permanently closed upon permanent alternate access
being provided to Area 2 across Areas 4 and 5 to
the satisfaction of the owners of Areas 2, 4 and

2. Section 5(1)(b)vii)F of By-law 1680/$3 is hereby revoked.
3. Schedule "II" to By-law 1680/83 is hereby revoked and the
Schedule "II" set out in Schedule "A" hereto is
substituted therefor.
4. Schedule "A" hereto shall form part of this By-law.
5. EFFECTIVE DATE
This By-law shall take effect from the date of its
approval by the Ontario Municipal Board.
