BY-LAW NUMBER 1.724/83
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 264/75
to establish the speed limit on Sandy Beach
Road and Montgomery Park Road at 50 km/h.
WHEREAS By-law Number 264/75 allows Council to authorize
limits on highways under the jurisdiction of the Town of
and
the speed
Pickering;
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to establish the speed limit on
Sandy Beach Road and Montgomery Park Road at 50 kilometres per hour
and to correct the area for the speed limit on Squires Beach Road
applies;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
Schedule
deleting the following lines:
"B" to By-law Number 264/75 is hereby amended by
Sandy Beach Road
Bayly Street
Montgomery Park Road
Montgomery Park Road
Sandy Beach Road
Squires Beach Road
Squires Beach Road
Montgomery Park Road
Bayly Street
and substituting therefor the following:
Squires Beach Road
McKay Road Bayly Street
2. This by-law shall take effect upon approval by the Regional
Municipality of Durham.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED this
6th day of September, 1983.
