BY-LAW NUMBER 1926/84
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number
1769/83 to prohibit or regulate the
keeping and running at large of certain
animals
WHEREAS By-law Number 1769/83, enacted on September 17, 1984,
prohibits or regulates the keeping and running at large of certain
animals; and
WHEREAS By-law Number 1769/83 restricts the number of birds of the
family Columbidae kept for racing or show purposes to 25; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-law Number 1769/83 to
allow a person to keep 70 birds;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
Schedule "C" to By-law Number 1769/83 is hereby deleted and
Schedule "I" to this by-law shall be substituted therefor.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally passed this
19th day of November, 1984.
