HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 1892/84THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 1892/84 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area, Region of Durham on Part of Lot 17, Plan 228, in the Town of Pickering. (A19/84) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering deems it desirable to permit the establishment of two residential lots on the subject property, such lots having a minimum lot area of 460 square metres and a minimum lot frontage of 15 metres. AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 3036 is therefore deemed necessary; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. BY-LAW 3036 By-law 3036, passed by the Council of the Corporation of the Township (now Town) of Pickering on the 3rd day of August 1965, and approved by the Ontario Municipal Board on the 7th day of October 1966, and amended from time to time, is hereby further amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of Section 2 hereof. 2. SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENT Schedule "A" to By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further amended by altering from R3 (One-Family Detached Dwelling Third Density Zone) to R4 (One-Family Detached Dwelling Fourth Density Zone) the zone designation of the lands designated 'R4' on Schedule "I" hereto, being Part Lot 17, Plan 228. 3.
