BY-LAW NUMBER 1806/84
A By-law to confirm the proceedings of
the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering at its meeting held
on the 19th day of March 1984.
WHEREAS by Section 9 of the Municipal Act, being
Chapter 284 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario,
1970, the powers of a municipal corporation are
to be exercised by its Council;
AND WHEREAS by Subsection 1 of Section 241 of the
Municipal Act, being Chapter 284 of the Revised
Statutes of Ontario, 1970, the powers of every
Council are to be exercised by By-law;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that the pro-
ceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering at these meetings be confirmed
and adopted by By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF
THE TOWN OF PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The action of the Council of the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering at its meeting held
on March 19th 1984, in respect of each
reco~endation contained in the Reports of the
Committees and each motion and resolution
passed and other action taken by the Council
of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
at this meeting, is hereby adopted and confirmed
as if all such proceedings were expressly
embodied in this By-law;
The Mayor and proper officials of the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering are hereby authorized
and directed to do all things necessary to give
effect to the action of the Council of the Corp-
oration of the Town of Pickering referred to in
the preceding section hereof;
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute all documents necessary in
that behalf and to affix thereto the Seal of
the Corporation of the Town of Pickering.

THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NO. 1806 /84
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a
transfer respecting the conveyance of Part Block
M-l, Plan M-1059, Pickering, to Chrand Con-
struction Inc. (Part 3, Plan 40R-7859; Parkside
Drive reserve)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 193 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1980, chapter 302, the council of a municipal corporation may sell any land previously
acquired for its purposes when no long still required; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering acquired that part
of Block M-I, Plan M-1059, Picketing designated as Part 3, Plan 40R-7859, for the
purposes of a reserve adjacent to Parkside Drive and such reserve is no longer
required;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a deed in the form
attached hereto as Schedule A conveying that part of Block M-l, Plan M-1059,
Pickering, designated as Part 3, Plan 40R-7859 to Chrand Construction Inc. for
the sum of $2.00.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 19th day of
March, 1984.
