HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 1789/84TI4E CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 1789 /84 Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Deed respecting the conveyance of Part Lot 36, Plan 1041, Pickering, to Chrand Construction Inc. WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 193 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, the council of a municipal corporation may sell any land previously acquired for its purposes when no long so required; and WHEREAS, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering acquired that part of Lot 36, Plan 1041, Picketing designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-7551, for the purposes of a reserve adjacent to Eastbank Road and such reserve is no longer required; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Deed in the form attached hereto as Schedule A conveying that part of Lot 36, Plan 1041, Picker- ing, designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-7551 to Chrand Construction Inc. for the sum of $2.00. BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6th day of February , 1984.
