Pursuant to Part VI.1 of the Municipal Act, 2001
April 7, 2026
Decision to give written approval of By-laws passed at the Special Meeting of City
Council held on April 7, 2026.
In accordance with subsection 284.11(4)(a)(i) of the Municipal Act, 2001 (the “Act”) the Mayor has decided:
1. Not to exercise the power to veto the Confirmatory By-law passed at the Special
Meeting of Council held on April 7, 2026; and,
2. That this Mayoral Decision provides written notice to approve By-laws 8244/26
and By-law 8245/26 enacted at the Special Meeting of Council held on April 7,
2026.
This Decision takes effect on April 7, 2026.
