Pursuant to Part VI.1 of the Municipal Act, 2001

Decision to give written approval of By-law passed at the Special Meeting of City
Council held on March 30, 2026 at 5:30 pm
In accordance with subsection 284.11(4)(a)(i) of the Municipal Act, 2001 (the “Act”) the Mayor has decided:
1. Not to exercise the power to veto the Confirmatory By-law passed at the Special
Meeting of Council held on March 30, 2026 at 5:30 pm; and,
2. That this Mayoral Decision provides written notice to approve By-law 8242/26
enacted at the Special Meeting of Council held on March 30, 2026 at 5:30 pm.
This Decision takes effect on March 30, 2026.
