Pursuant to Part VI.1 of the Municipal Act, 2001

Decision to give written approval of By-laws passed at the February 23, 2026
Regular Meeting of City Council
In accordance with subsection 284.11(4)(a)(i) of the Municipal Act, 2001 (the “Act”) the Mayor has decided:
1. Not to exercise the power to veto the Confirmatory By-law passed at the
February 23, 2026 Regular Meeting of Council; and,
2. That this Mayoral Decision provides written notice to approve By-laws 8233/26
and 8234/26 enacted at the February 23, 2026 Regular Meeting of Council.
This Decision takes effect on February 23, 2026.
