Carried Disclosure of Interest Approval of Minutes January 20, 2026, Meeting Minutes 1. 2. 3. 3.1 1 A brief discussion ensued between Committee Members and staff regarding whether the Cultural Strategic Plan would be presented to the Cultural Advisory Committee again, to provide details concerning data collection and how priorities were identified. Moved By S. Barillaro That the Minutes of the January 20, 2026, Meeting of the Cultural Advisory Committee be approved. Carried Delegations/Presentations There were no delegations. New Business Pickering Museum Village - February Update K. Pyke, Coordinator, Museum Operations, Pickering Museum Village provided an introduction of the launch of Adventure Hub, a new suite of on-site, interactive, self- guided program, to be offered on a mobile platform at the Pickering Museum Village this summer. A brief question and answer period ensued between Committee members and staff regarding: whether WiFi was available;• whether participants would require their own device; and,• what the ideal age range for participation was.• Council Report - 2025 Achievements and 2026 Work Plan for discussion J. St. Amant, Coordinator, Cultural Services, provided an overview of the Cultural Advisory Committee (CAC) Report to Council, summarizing the 2025 accomplishments of the CAC and outlining the proposed work plan for 2026. Discussion ensued between Committee Members and staff regarding: the development of the Pickering Arts Culture Engagement (PACE) work plan moving forward; • 4. 5. 5.1 5.2 Cultural Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes February 17, 2026 2 Committee endorsement of the finalized Report at the March 17, 2026 CAC meeting; and, • opportunities for Committee Members to speak to the Report at the May Council meeting in the form of a delegation. • Community Banner Series for review J. St. Amant, Coordinator, Cultural Services, provided a summary of the Community Banner Series including a project overview, the selection process, and highlighted the project theme. A brief question and answer period ensued between Committee Members and staff regarding where calls to artists were posted and how the banners held up to environmental conditions. Pickering Arts Culture Engagement (PACE) subcommittee – Update The PACE subcommittee had no updates. Other Business There was no other business. Correspondence There was no correspondence.
