HomeMy WebLinkAboutMDirection 04-2024 Mayoral Direction #04-2024 Pursuant to Part VI.1 of the Municipal Act, 2001 October 25, 2024 Direction to the Director, Human Resources to Coordinate the 2024 Annual Performance Review for the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) In accordance with subsection 284.5 of the Municipal Act, 2001 (the “Act”), the powers of a municipality under section 229 of the Act, with respect to the Chief Administrative Officer, are assigned to the Head of Council; In accordance with subsection 284.3 of the Act, the Mayor hereby directs the Director, Human Resources to: 1. Undertake the coordination of seeking and compiling feedback from individual Members of Council, as it pertains to the 2024 Annual Performance Review for the CAO; 2. Present the compiled feedback to the Mayor by November 15, 2024, which in turn will be used to conduct the Annual Performance Review on a date and time to be determined by the Mayor; and, 3. That the Mayor provide the results of the CAO’s Performance Review to Members of Council through a confidential memorandum. This Direction takes effect on October 25, 2024 and remains in effect unless and until it is revoked in writing by the Mayor. Original Signed By: _______________________________ Kevin Ashe Mayor
