HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 1967/85THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 1967 /85 Being a by-law to authorize the execution of an Application to Amend the Land Titles Register to delete therefrom the Storm Sewer and Drainage Easement in Instrument No. D70410 respecting that part of Lot 19, Range 3, Broken Front Concession, Picketing, designated as Parts 2, 6, 7 and 8, Plan 40R-8276 (formerly Parts 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8, Plan 40R-3325) (Bramalea Brock Industrial Park - lgT-83013/formerly Torwest). WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Pickering is the owner of certain Storm Sewer and Drainage Easements set out in Instrument No. D76416 respecting part of Lot 19, Range 3, Broken Front Concession, Picketing, designated as Parts 2, 6, 7 and 8, Plan 40R-8276 (formerly Parts 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8, Plan 40R-3325), which it no longer requires, and pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, section 193, may therefore be disposed of; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Application, in the form attached hereto as Schedule A to amend the Land Titles Register to delete Storm Water Drainage Easement in Instrument D-76416 from the title to that part of Lot 19, Range 3, Broken Front Concession, Pickering, designated as Parts 2, 6, 7 and 8, Plan 40R-8276 (formerly Parts 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8, Plan 40R-3325). BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 4th day of Febru- ary, 1985. SCHEDULE A LAND TITLES ACT APPLICATION TO AMEND REGISTER (Section 78) TO: The Land Registrar for the Land Titles Division o£ Durham (No. 40) THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING the registered owner of an Easement over that part of Plan-l, in the Register for Section 40M- , Picketing, being Parts 2, 6, 7 and 8, Plan 40R-8276 (formerly Parts 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8, Plan 40R-3325) which Easement was registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Division of Durham (No. 40) on September 8th, 1978, as Instrument D76416, Registry hereby applies to have the Register for the Parcel amended by deleting therefrom the Easement in Instrument D76416 as to the lands more particularly described as those parts of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, Plan 40M- , Picketing, designated as Parts 2, 6, 7 and 8, Plan 40R-$276 (formerly Parts 3, 4, 6, 7 and B, Plan 40R-3325, being part of the said Parcel.
