HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2331/86THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 2331 /86 Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Transfer between the Corporation of the Town of Picketing and Elegance Estate Holdings Inc. respecting Part Lot 2, Plan 410, being that part of Part 14, Plan 84, Miscellaneous, Picketing, designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-7284 (Twyn Rivers Drive) WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickeving (of which the Corporation of the Town of Picketing is the successor) is the owner of certain lands in Lot 2, Plan 410, Pickering, including that part of Part 14, Plan 84, Miscellaneous, now designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-7284; and WHEREAS those lands are no longer required for the purposes of the Corporation, the lands having been stopped up as public highway by By-law 1578/82, enacted Novem- ber 22, 1982 and registered as Instrument No. D147750 on November 29, 1982: NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer in the form attached hereto as Schedule A of part of Lot 2, Plan 410, Picketing, being that part of Part 14, Plan 84, Miscellaneous, now designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-7284, between the Corporation of the Town of Picketing and the owner of the lands immediately adjacent, on the north side, of the lands referred to above. 2. The sale price for the transfer of the lands referred to in section I shall be $2.00. BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 1st day of December, 1986. TOWN OF APPROVE9 .
