Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Release
and Discharge of Subdivision Agreements LT142162 and
LT158923 respecting certain lands in Plan 40M-1282,
Picketing.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning Act, 1983, S.O. 1983, c.l, s.50, or a predecessor thereof, The
Corporation of the Town of Picketing and Bramalea Limited entered into Agreements dated February
15, 1982, (Notice of which was registered on February 16, 1982 as Instrument No. LT142162) and
September 13, 1982, (Notice of which was registered on December 2, 1982 as Instrument No.
LT158923), respecting the subdivision and development of certain lands in Plan 40M-1282, Picketing;
and
WHEREAS the terms and conditions of those Agreements have been complied with to the satisfaction
of the Town respecting the lands in Plan 40M-1282, Picketing;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release and Discharge, in the form
attached hereto as Schedule A, of the Agreements dated February 15, 1982, (Notice of which
was registered Februanj 16, 1982 as Instrument No. LT142162) and September 13, 1982,
(Notice of which was registered on December 2, 1982, as Instrument No. LT158923), between
Bramalea Limited and The Corporation of the Town of Picketing, respecting the subdivision
and development of Blocks 1 to 21, inclusive, Amberlea Road, Ariel Crescent, Chiron
Crescent, Highview Road, Miranda Court and Oberon Court, Plan 40M-1282, Pickering.
2. Schedule A hereto forms part of this By-law.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this.~ffh day of June, 1991.

WHEREAS the Agreements dated February 15, 1982, (Notice of which was registered as Instrument
No. LT142162 on February 16, 1982), and September 13, 1982, (Notice of which was registered as
Instrument No. LT158923 on December 2, 1982), in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles
Division of Durham (No. 40), between,
BRAMALEA LIMITED
hereinafter referred to as the "Company"
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
hereinafter referred to as the "Town",
provided for the subdivision and development of lands affected hereby;
WHEREAS the terms and conditions of those Agreements have been complied with to the satisfaction
of the Town with respect to the lands in Plan 40M-1282, Pickering;
THE TOWN HEREBY remises, releases and forever discharges the Company, its successors and
assigns, from any and all liabilities, actions, causes of action, debts, claims or demands of any kind
whatsoever which the Company may have been, is, or may become subject to pursuant to the provisions
of the Agreement.
THIS RELEASE AND DISCHARGE affects the lands described as:
Blocks 1 to 21, inclusive, Amberlea Road, Ariel Crescent, Chiron Crescent, Highview Road, Miranda
Court and Oberon Court, Plan 40M-1282, Town of Pickering, Regional Municipality of Durham.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Town has hereunto affLxed its corporate seal, attested to by its properly
authorized officers.
