BY-LAW NO. 3349/89
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a
Release of Covenants contained in Instrument
Nos. 154381 and 225454 respecting Part Lot 30,
Concession 2, Picketing.
WI1EREAS Instruments 154381 and 225454, registered June 8, 1967 and July 4, 1972,
respectively contain certain covenants, numbered 1, 2 and 3, in each Instrument,
allegedly in favour of the "Municipality of the Township of Picketing" (of which The
Corporation of the Town of Picketing is the successor), respecting the development of
part of Lot 30, Concession 2, Pickering~ and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 193 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1980, chapter 302, the council of a municipal corporation may pass a by-law to dis-
pose of an interest in land when it is no longer required;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering IIEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release in the form
attached hereto as Schedule A respecting the covenants numbered 1, 2 and 3 in
each of Instruments 154381 and 225454 in favour of the Municipality of the
Township of Picketing of which the Corporation of the Town of Picketing is the
successor affecting that part of Lot 30, Concession 2, Picketing, described in
Schedule I to the Release.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 18th day of
December, 1989.

RELEASE
In consideration of the sum of Two Dollars ($2.00) paid to it, receipt of which is
hereby by it acknowledged,
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKER1NG
as successor to The Municipality of the Township of Picketing
hereby releases and forever discharges
EDWARD WILLIAMOWICZ
and
THERESA WILLIAMOWICZ
their heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns of and from all claims,
demands, damages, actions or causes of action which may have arisen, are arising, or
may arise as a result of or in any way related to covenants nnmbered 1, 2 and 3 on
page 3 of deeds dated May 29, 1967 and June 29, 1972 and registered as Instruments
154381 and 225454 on June 8, 1967 and July 4, 1972, respectively,
concerning that Part of Lot 30, Concession 2, Pickering, more particularly described
in Schedule I attached hereto.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF The Corporation of the Town of Pickering has hereunto affixed
its corporate seal attested hy its properly authorized officers this 18th day of Decem-
ber, 1989.

SCHEDULE I
PREMISING that the southerly limit of the said lot 30 has a bearing of North 74030'30"
East, and relating all bearings herein thereto, then
COMMENCING at the south-east angle of the said lot 30, where an iron bar bas been
planted;
THENCE south 74030'30'' West, along the said southerly limit of Lot 30, two hundred
and fifty feet (250.00') to an iron bar planted, distant one thousand and eighty-six
decimal two zero feet (1086.20') from the south-west angle of the said lot 30;
THENCE North 17°17~50' West, three hundred and forty-four decimal seven one feet
(344.71~) more or less to an iron bar planted in the southerly limit of the land con-
veyed to the Hydro Electric Power Commission of Ontario by Instruwevt registered as
No. 32801;
THENCE North 52°44~40' East, along the said southerly limit of the H.E.P.C. land,
two hundred and sixty-five decimal eight five feet (205.85') more or less to an iron
hat planted at the most south-easterly angle thereof, being at a point in the easterly
limit of the said lot 30, distant northerly therealong four hundred and forty-three
decimal three three feet from the south-east angle thereof;
THENCE South 17°17~50" East, along the said easterly limit of lot 30, four hundred
and forty-three decimal three three feet (443.33') to the POINT OF COMMENCF, MENT.
EXCEPTING TIIEREOUT AND THEREFROM the said lands the most southerly 17' in
perpendicular depth thereof, conveyed by the Grantor herein to the Municipality of
the Township of Pickerlng for road widening purposes.
