HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3255/89 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 3255/89 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended by By-law 3177/89~ to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Picketing District Planning Area, Region of Durham~ in Part of Lot 30~ Range 3, Broken Front Concession~ in the Town of Picketing. (A 38/89) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing passed By-law 3177/89 amending By-law 3036~ to permit the establishment of a hotel use in addition to special purpose commercial uses on the subiect lands~ being Part of Lot 30, Range 3, Broken Front Concession; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing now deems it desirable to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036~ as amended by By-law 3177/89, to permit a hotel on the subject property to have a maximum building height of 30.0 metres; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. TEXT AMENDMENT (i) Section 5.(l)(b)(vii) of By-law 3177/89 is hereby revoked and the following substituted therefor: (vii) BUILDING HEIGHT (maximum): A Hotel use: 30.0 metres B All other uses: 12.0 metres 2. EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subiect to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, if required.
