HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 7812/21The Corporation of the City of Pickering By-law No. 7812/21 Being a by-law to exempt Part of Lots 196 and 197, Plan 40M-2631, being Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4, Plan 40R-31202, Pickering from the part lot control provisions of the Planning Act. Whereas pursuant to the provisions of section 50(7) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P.13, as amended, the Council of a municipality may by by-law provide that section 50(5) of the Act does not apply to certain lands within a plan of subdivision designated in the by-law; Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby enacts as follows: 1. Section 50(5) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P.13, as amended shall cease to apply to the lands described as follows: (a) Part Lot 196, Plan 40M-2631, being Part 1, Plan 40R-31202; (b) Part Lots 196 and 197, Plan 40M-2631, being Parts 2 and 3, Plan 40R- 31202, provided that Parts 2 and 3, Plan 40R-31202 shall only be transferred together; and (c) Part Lot 197, Plan 40M-2631, being Part 4, Plan 40R-31202, provided that the said land shall only be transferred together with Lot 198, Plan 40M- 2631. 2. This by-Iaw shall remain in force and effect for a period of two years from the. date of the passing of this by-law and shall expire on January 25, 2023. By-law passed this 25th day of January, 2021.
