BY-LAW NO. 3048 /89
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a
Release and Discharge of the Subdivision Agree-
ment respecting Plan M-1057, Picketing.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning Act, 1983, S.O. 1983, c.1, s.50, or a predeces-
sor thereof, The Corporation of the Town of Picketing and Bramalea Limited entered
into an Agreement dated November 15, 1976, Notice of which was registered on March
17, 1977 as Instrument No. LTD39669 respecting the subdivision and development of
Plan M-1057, Pickering.
WHEREAS the terms and conditions of that Agreement have been complied with to the
satisfaction of the Town;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release and Dis-
charge, in the form attached hereto as Schedule A, of the Agreement dated
November 15, 1976, Notice of which was registered March 17, 1977, as
Instrument No. LTD39669 between Bramalea Limited and The Corporation of the
Town of Pickering, respecting the subdivision and development of Plan M-1057,
Pickering.
2. Schedule A hereto forms part of this By-law.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 20th day of
February, 1989.

RELEASE AND DISCHARGE
WHEREAS the Agreement dated November 15, 1976, Notice of which was registered
March 17, 1977, in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Durham
(No. 40) as Instrument No. LTD39669 between,
BRAMALEA LIMITED
hereinafter referred to as the "Company"
- and -
TIlE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
hereinafter referred to as the "Town",
provided for the subdivision and development of lands affected hereby; and
WHEREAS the terms and conditions of that Agreement have been complied with to the
satisfaction of the Town with respect to the lands affected hereby;
THE TOWN HEREBY remises, releases and forever discharges the Company, its suc-
cessors and assigns, from any and all liabilities, actions, causes of action, debts,
claims or demands of any kind whatsoever which the Company may have been, is, or
may become subject to pursuant to the provisions of the Agreement.
THIS RELEASE AND DISCHARGE affects the lands described as:
Lots 6-8 inclusive, 31, 39, 40, 42-44 inclusive, 47-52 inclusive, 79, 90, 91, 105, 145,
148-161 inclusive, 163-166 inclusive, 178, 179, 181, 183, 184, 188-196 inclusive, 198,
199, 203-231 inclusive, Blocks B, C and N and Shadybrook Drive, Briar Wood Gate,
Eastbank Road, Meadowview Avenue, Edgewood Road, Cobbler's Court and Kate's
Lane on Plan M-1057;
Lot 244, 255-262 inclusive, 265, 270-280 inclusive, 282, 287, 290-293 inclusive,
295-298 inclusive, 309, 327-337 inclusive, 350, 351 and Blocks V-1 and W and Millbank
Road, Parkside Drive, New Street, Una Road, Cricket Lane, Strouds Lane,
Shadybrook Drive, and Hedgerow Place on Plan M-1058;
Lots 353-403 inclusive, Lots 406-446 inclusive and Blocks K-1 and N-1 and Parkside
Drive, Aspen Road and Pebble Court on Plan M-1059;
Lots 1-23 inclusive, Block A and Minstrel Manor on Plan M-1165;
Lots 1-19 inclusive, Blocks 20-25 inclusive, Blocks 27-33 inclusive, Aspen Road and
Stonepath Circle on Plan M-1219; and
Blocks 1-8 inclusive and Belinda Court and Orion Court on Plan M-1227;
all in the Town of Pickering, Regional Municipality of Durham.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Town has hereunto affixed its corporate seal, attested to
by its properly authorized officers.
