BY-LAW NO. 3042
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a
Transfer from The Corporation of the Town of
Picketing to Murray William Glaeser, Joan Marjory
Glaeser and Russell Alfred Glaeser respecting
Part Lot 30, Concession 1, Pickering, designated
as Part Part 1, Plan 82, Miscellaneous, designated
as Part 55, Plan 40R-4433. (Sheppard Avenue).
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering (of which The Corporation of
the Town of Pickering is the successor) is the owner of certain lands in Part Lot 30,
Concession 1, Picketing, designated as Part Part 1, Plan 82, Miscellaneous being Part
55, Plan 40R-4433; and
WHEREAS those lands are no longer required for the purposes of the Corporation, the
lands having been stopped up as public highway by By-law 1097[80, enacted April 8,
1980, and registered as Instrument No. D106177 on April 14, 1980;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer, in the form
attached hereto as Schedule A, of Part Lot 30, Concession 1, Picketing,
designated as Part Part 1, Plan 82, Miscellanous, being Part 55, Plan 40R-4433,
from The Corporation of the Town of Pickering to Murray William Glaeser, Joan
Marjory Glaeser and Russell Alfred Glaeser, the owners of the lands immediately
adiacent, on t~he north side, of the lands referred to above.
2. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Indemnification
Agreement, in the form attached hereto as Schedule B, between Murray William
Glaeser, Joan Marjory Glaeser and Russell Alfred Glaeser and The Corporation
of the Town of Picketing, respecting the indemnification of the Town for any
utility relocation costs which may be incurred as a result of the Transfer
referred to in section 1.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 20th day of
February, 1989.

2. The Owner shall save harmless and indemnify the Town from and ag;d~:s: ail
