BY-LAW NO. 3014 /89
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a
Release and Discharge of the Subdivision Agree-
ment respecting Plan M-1223, Picketing.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning Act, 1983, S.O. 1983, c.1, s.50, or a predeces-
sor thereof, The Corporation of the Town of Picketing and The Hurlstone
Development Corporation entered into an Agreement dated May 4, 1981, Notice of
which was registered on August 13, 1981 as Instrument No. LT131595, respecting the
subdivision and development of Plan M-1223, Picketing;
WHEREAS the terms and conditions of that Agreement have been complied with to the
satisfaction of the Town;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release and Dis-
charge, in the form attached hereto as Schedule A, of the Agreement dated May
4, 1981, Notice of which was registered August 13, 1981 as Instrument No.
LT13159§, between The Hurlstone Development Corporation and The Corporation
of the Town of Pickering, respecting the subdivision and development of Plan
M-1223, Picketing.
2. Schedule A hereto forms part of this By-law.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6th day of
February, 1989.

RELEASE AND DISCHARGE
WHEREAS the Agreement dated May 4, 1981, Notice of which was registered August
13, 1981, in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Durham (No. 40)
as Instrument No. LT131595, between,
THE HURLSTONE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
hereinafter referred to as the "Company"
- and -
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
hereinafter referred to as the "Town",
provided for the subdivision and development of lands affected hereby; and
WHEREAS the terms and conditions of that Agreement have been complied with to the
satisfaction of the Town with respect to the lands affected hereby;
THE TOWN HEREBY remises, releases and forever discharges the Company, its suc-
cessors and assigns, from any and all liabilities, actions, causes of action, debts,
claims or demands of any kind whatsoever which the Company may have been, is, or
may become subject to pursuant to the provisions of the Agreement.
THIS RELEASE AND DISCHARGE affects the lands described as:
Lots 1 to 57, inclusive, Part Block 58, Blocks 61 to 66, inclusive and Aspen Road,
New Street, Una Road, Stonepath Circle and Woodruff Crescent on Plan M-1223, in
the Town of Pickering, Regional Municipality of Durham.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Town has hereunto affixed its corporate seal, attested to
by its properly authorized officers.
