BY-LAW NO. 2991/89
Being a by-law to assume services under the
jurisdiction of the Town in Plan M-1189,
Picketing.
WHEREAS, pursuant to, where applicable, the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.302,
ss.259, 284, 286, 298 and 315.7; the Planning Act, 1983, s.o. 1983, c.1, s.50; the
Regional Municipality of Durham Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.434, ss.34 and 53, and the
Agreement dated July 30, 1979 (Notice of which was registered on March 12, 1980 as
Instrument No. LT105197), between Bramalea Limited and The Corporation of the
Town of Picketing, aboveground and underground services under the jurisdiction of
the Town in Plan M-1189, Picketing, have been completed to its satisfaction;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The aboveground services under the jurisdiction of the Town, that are required
to be constructed or installed in the development of Plan M-1189, Picketing,
including the roads, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, driveway aprons, boule-
vards, street signs, fencing and grading, located on lands that are both,
(a) dedicated to or owned by the Town, the Regional Municipality of Durham
or the Province of Ontario, and
{b) in Plan M-1189, Picketing, or immediately adjacent thereto,
are hereby accepted by the Town and assumed by it for maintenance, as of
August 10, 1984.
2. The underground services under the jurisdiction of the Town that are required
to be constructed or installed in the development of Plan M-1189, Picketing,
including the storm drainage system and related appurtenances, located on
lands that are both,
(a) dedicated to or owned by the Town, the Regional Municipality of Durham
or the Province of Ontario, and
(b) in Plan M-11Bg, Picketing, or immediately adjacent thereto,
are hereby accepted by the Town and assumed by it for maintenance, as of
January 19, 1983.
3. In sections 1 and 2, the phrase "lands that are ... owned by the Town"
includes lands that are subject to an easement transferred to the Town, but
only with respect to the specific service or services referred to in the easement
transfer document.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 16th day of
January, 1989.

ss.259, 284, 286, 298 and 315.7; the Platxning Act, 1983, s.o. 1983, c.1, s.50; the
Regional Municipality of Durham Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.434, ss.34 and 53, and the
Agreement dated July 30, 1979 (Notice of which was registered on March 12, 19g0 as
Instrument No. LT105197), between Bramalea IAmited and The Corporation of the
Town of Picketing, aboveground and underground services under the iurisdiction of
the Town in Plan M-1189, Pickering, have been completed to its satisfaction;
NOW TIIEREFORE, the Gouncil of The Gorporation of the Town of Picketing IIF, REBY
ENACTS AS Fei,LOWS:
1. The aboveground services under the jurisdiction of the Town, that are required
to he constructed or installed in the development of Plan M-1189, Picketing,
including the roads, curios and gutters, sidewalks, driveway aprons, boule-
yards, street signs, fencing and grading, located on lands that are both,
(a) dedicated to or owned by the Town, the Regional Municipality of Dnrham
or the Province of Ontario, and
(b) in Plan M-Ii89, Picketing, or immediately adjacent thereto,
are hereby accepted by the Town and assumed by it for maintenance, as of
August 10, 1984.
2. The underground services under the jurisdiction of the Town that are required
to be constructed or installed in the development of Plan M-1189, Picketing,
including the storm drainage system and related appurtenances, located on
lands that are both,
(a) dedicated to or owned by the Town, the Regional Municipality of Durham
or the Province of Ontario, and
(b) in Plan M-1189, Picketing, or immediately adiacent thereto,

including the roads, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, driveway aprons, boule-
yards, street signs, fencing and grading, located on lands that are both,
(a)dedicated to or owned by the Town, the Regional Municipality of Durham
or the Province of Ontario, and
(h) in Plan M-1189, Picketing, or immediately adjacent thereto,
are hereby accepted by the Town and assumed by it for maintenance, as of
August 10, 1984.

the Town in Plan M-1189, Pickering, have been completed to its satisfaction;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The aboveground services under the jurisdiction o£ the Town, that are required
to be constructed or installed in the development of Plan M-I189, Picketing,
including the roads, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, driveway aprons, boule-
vards, street signs, fencing and grading, located on lands that are both,
(a) dedicated to or owned by the Town, the Regional Municipality of Durham
or the Province of Ontario, and
(b) in Plan M-1189, Picketing, or immediately adjacent thereto,
are hereby accepted hy the Town and assumed by it for maintenance, as of
August 10, 1984.
2. The underground services under the jurisdiction of the Town that are required
to be constructed or installed in the development of Plan M-1189, Picketing,
including the storm drainage system and related appurtenances, located on
lands that are both,
(a) dedicated to or owned by the Town, the Regional Municipality of Durham
or the Province of ~-tario, and
(b) in Plan M-1189, Picketing, or immediately adjacent thereto,
are hereby accepted by the Town and assumed by it for maintenance, as of
January 19, 1983.
