BY-LAW NUMBER 2762/88
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2366/87
designating certain highways within the
Town of Pickering as through highways
WHEREAS By-law 2366/87, as amended, designates certain highways within
the Town of Pickering as through highways; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 2366/87 to designate
Valley Farm Road from Finch Avenue to Concession 3 Road, Fairport Road
from Finch Avenue to Concession 3 Road and Major Oaks Road from Brock
Road to Dellbrook Avenue as through highways;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law 2366/87, as amended, is hereby further
amended by deleting the following:
COLUMN I COLUMN II
Highway From To
Dellbrook Avenue Brock Road (Durham West terminus of
Regional Road l) Dellbrook Avenue
Major Oaks Road Brock Road (Durham West terminus of
Regional Road 1) Major Oaks Road
and by adding thereto the following:
Fairport Road Finch Avenue Concession 3 Road
(Durham Regional
Road 37)
Major Oaks Road Brock Road (Durham Dellbrook Avenue
Regional Road 1)
Valley Farm Road Finch Avenue Concession 3 Road
(Durham Regional
Road 37)
2. This by-law shall come into force on the date that it is approved
by the Council of the Regional Municipality of Durham.
BY-LAW Read a first, second and third time and PASSED this 2nd day of
May, 1988.
