BY-LAW NUMBER 2643 /88
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2366/87
designating Steeple Hill and Douglas
Avenue as through highways
WHEREAS By-law 2366/87, as amended, designates certain highways within
the Town of Pickering as through highways; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 2366/87 to designate
Steeple Hill and Douglas Avenue as through highways;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law 2366/87, as amended, is hereby further
amended by deleting the following:
COLUMN I COLUMN II
Highway From To
Douglas Avenue Browning Avenue Radom Street
and substituting the following therefore:
Douglas Avenue Browning Avenue Haller Avenue
and adding the following:
Steeple Hill Kingston Road Lightfoot Place
(King's Highway No.2)
2. This by-law shall come into force on the date that it is approved
by the Council of the Regional Municipality of Durham and when
signs to the effect are erected.
BY-LAW Read a first, second and third time and PASSED this 18th day of
January, 1988.
