BY-LAW NO. 5760/00
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of an
Encroachment Agreement between The
Corporation of the City of Pickering and 1179298
Ontario Limited.
WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Pickering has an interest in the lands described as
that part of Block D, Plan M-1024, Pickering, designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-16324 in which
1179298 Ontario Limited has built a structure that encroaches thereon;
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to permit such encroachment to continue, subject to certain
terms and conditions;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Encroachment Agreement, in
the form satisfactory to the Solicitor for the City, between The Corporation of the City of
Pickering and 1179298 Ontario Limited respecting the encroachment of a retaining wall
located on part of Block D, Plan M- 1024.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 16th day of October, 2000.
