HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 5708/00THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 5708/00 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the City of Picketing District Planning Area, Region of Durham in Part of Lot 28, Concession 2, in the City of Picketing. (A 25/00) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the City of Picketing passed By-law 5493/99 (A 11/97), on May 17, 1999, amending By-law 3036, as amended, to impose an "(H)" holding symbol on certain lands, including Part of Lot 28, Concession 2, in the City of Picketing; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the City of Picketing now deems it desirable to further amend By-law 3036, as amended, to remove the "(H)" holding symbol on the subject lands; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FO! J OWS: 1. SCHEDULE Schedule I to By-law 5493~99 is hereby further amended by removing the "(H)" holding symbol preceding the zone category "S3" on Part of LOt 28, Concession 2, in the City of Picketing, as set out in Schedule I attached hereto. TEXT AMENDMENT Sections 5(5)(b)(iii) and 5(5)(c) of By-law remaining sections renumbered accordingly. 5493~99 are hereby repealed, and the BY-LAW 3036 By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law as it applies to the area set out in Schedule I attached hereto. Definitions and subject matters not specifically dealt with in this By-law shall be governed by relevant provisions of By-law 3036, as amended. 4. EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof. BY-LAW read a first, second, and third time and finally passed this 26 day of 3une ,2000.
